Circle Sit

Learning does not end when a workshop concludes. In fact, meaningful learning often begins after participants return to their classrooms, workplaces, and everyday realities. It is in these spaces that ideas are tested, adapted, questioned, and transformed into practice.

Circle Sit is Open Circle’s way of supporting that journey.

Offered free of charge to select institutions with whom we have previously engaged, Circle Sit is a follow-up learning initiative that brings participants together once again—not for another lecture, but for conversation, reflection, dialogue, and shared learning.

Rather than asking "What did you learn?", Circle Sit asks:

These sessions create a relaxed, informal space where participants revisit ideas, exchange experiences, celebrate successes, discuss setbacks, and collectively explore better ways forward

Why Circle Sit

Research consistently shows that one-time training programmes, however inspiring, often have limited long-term impact unless they are followed by opportunities for reflection, reinforcement, and application

Circle Sit addresses this gap by helping participants:

  • Reflect on their experiences after the training.
  • Strengthen the transfer of learning into practice.
  • Share innovations, challenges, and real-life experiences
  • Learn from peers working in similar contexts.
  • Renew motivation and commitment
  • Continue their professional growth through dialogue

The emphasis is not on teaching more content but on deepening understanding through experience

A Community, Not Just a Programme

At Open Circle, we believe that meaningful learning thrives in communities rather than in isolated events.

Every Circle Sit contributes to building a growing network of educators, professionals, students, leaders, and practitioners who value thoughtful practice, lifelong learning, and mutual support.

Over time, these conversations evolve into circles of competence—communities where people willingly share knowledge, mentor one another, challenge ideas respectfully, and grow together. Instead of learning remaining confined to a single workshop, it becomes part of an ongoing culture of inquiry and collaboration

Experience Shared Is Experience Multiplied

One person’s classroom experiment can inspire another’s breakthrough. One professional’s challenge may hold the solution someone else has been searching for. Circle Sit creates opportunities for these conversations to happen naturally.

Every participant brings valuable experiences, questions, and insights to the circle. By listening, sharing, and reflecting together, learning becomes richer, more authentic, and more enduring

Our Commitment

Circle Sit reflects our belief that learning deserves continuity.

While many training programmes end with certificates, we choose to continue the conversation. Because lasting change is built through reflection, practice, relationships, and shared purpose—not through one-time events.

At Open Circle, we don’t simply deliver programmes.

We build circles that continue to learn
